Location & Driving Directions

From the International Airport in Managua to Iguana Surf Retreat

1. Coming out of the airport you will make a right
2. Take this road until you reach the town "Tipitapa"
3. Once in Tipitapa you will make another right and head towards the town "Masaya"
4. Go through Masaya and take a right towards Catarina
5. You will pass by a couple of small towns (San Juan de Oriente, Diria & Diriomo)
6. Afterwards, you will get towards Volcan Mombacho; here you take a right on the fork on the road which takes you to Nandaime.
7. When you get to Nandaime take a left in the fork, which takes you to Rivas.
8. Just before you get to Rivas you will see a sign for Tola, take the right there and follow the signs indicating Tola and Hacienda Iguana. You will be heading west.
9. From Rivas to Tola there is approx 12 Km.
10. From Tola you will continue west on the gravel road.
11. You will keep following the signs for Iguana (17 km)
12. When you follow all the signs you will reach Iguana Surf Retreat.
13. Iguana's first entrance will be on your left hand side, you will see two yellow security cabins, palm trees and the gate (approx. 17 km from Tola)
14. At the gate please ask for los daneses (Danish Guys) or Vamos Group
15. Inside the first entrance the road will take you directly into Playa Iguana
16. Once inside Iguana Resort you follow the road towards the beach (it curves right and then straight west).
17. Drive to our sales office, which is the white house on your right handside
18. You can park infront of the Sales office and we will be ready to greet you.
